Our story
In 2022, I volunteered on a humanitarian mission in Ukraine to support families fleeing the war, injured children and frontline troops. This experience motivated me to start Hoopin4Hope - a fundraising campaign that provides an opportunity for American youth to support their peers in Ukraine. Hoopin4Hope raises funds through basketball to aid displaced and injured Ukranian teens that are still facing the perils of ongoing conflict.
Our mission
Hoopin4Hope carries forward core basketball values of teamwork, leadership and commitment to make a meaningful difference in local and global communities through basketball. Our goal is to raise $3000 through high school basketball playoffs and State championships. These funds will be donated to Ukraine Friends, the nonprofit organization that I traveled with and continues to provide aid to Ukrainian refugees of all ages.
How to help
Get involved! There are various levels of involvement tailored to different members of our communities. Students can engage their schools' basketball teams to participate, parents and fans can pledge for their team's 3-pointers made, or you can fund our work through direct donations. Whichever way you choose, your donation is tax-deductible.

More than 10 million Ukranians have been displaced due to the Russian invasion. Join me in supporting youth who have been injured and uprooted. Through your donation, Ukraine Friends will provide opportunities for these children and teens to continue schooling, find a safe home and enjoy every-day activities that have been interrupted due to the conflict.
